This is a project for Father´s Day. The topper shows a father with his twin sons a his little dautgher around him. This scene was inspired by a real picture of my family. You can create yours following the instructions in the last issue of Cakes & Sugarcarft magazine (Issue 113, summer 2011)

Este es un proyecto para el Día del Padre. La figura muestra a un papá con sus hijos gemelos y su hija pequeña a su alrededor. La escena está inspirada en una foto real de mi familia. With this little Sugar topper of Hello Kitty I would like to thank all the people who came last week to the SUGAR exhibition in Madrid and participated in my courses.

Lumpy, the Heffalump, a Winnie The Pooh´s friend is a little elephant from a child´s viewpoint. As a curiosity his name comes from the child's attempt at pronouncing "elephant".

I think this would be a cute character to decorate a cake for the youngsters of the house.Thank you all for leaving your comments and becoming followers! Keep in touch.

Lumpy, el Heffalump, un amigo de Winnie The Pooh es un pequeño elefante desde el punto de vista de un niño. Como curiosidad, la palabra Heffalump viene del intento de los niños al pronunciar "elefante".

Despite of the hot weather in Argentina at this time of the year, I'd like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy 2012 with this winter scene. Hope you find this polar bears family and the funny penguin easy to make as a souvenir for the ones you love for this special period of the year.

I start 2012 with a cake I recently made for a christening. The main character is Sapo Pepe a nice cartoon well known by kids. I am currently giving the finishing touches to my first book and very soon I will be back in Europe for new exhibitions and classes. I will keep you all informed in the next posts.

Comienzo 2012 con esta tarta que he hecho recientemente para un bautizo. El personaje principal es el Sapo Pepe, un simpático dibujo animado, muy conocido por los niños. Os cuento que en la actualidad me encuentro dando los últimos retoques a mi primer libro y que muy pronto volveré a Europa para participar en nuevas exposiciones y clases. Os mantendré informados en los próximos posts.

Pinocchio is my latest sugar topper I created for the Italian Cake Festival that took place in Milan a month ago. This famous character has the personal touch of my brother Elio who always helps me with the first steps of designing my figures.

I hope to include any of my future courses to show the technics to create it. In the meantime, Pinocchio and I wish you all a happy Summer. 

Pinocho es mi nueva figura de azúcar creada para el Italian Cake Festival que tuvo lugar en Milán  hace un mes. Este famoso personaje tiene un toque personal de mi hermano Elio, quien siempre me ayuda en los primeros pasos de diseño de mis figuras.

Espero incluirlo en alguno de mis próximos cursos para mostrar las técnicas para su realización. Mientras tanto, Pinocho y yo os deseamos a todos un feliz verano.

Halloween is approaching and the best way to celebrate this special date is by making a scary sugar topper like this one I made for issue 118 of The Cakes & Sugarcraft Magazine. Who hasn’t ever had a nightmare imagining that there was a monster under the bed? I am sure that everyone has felt as safe snuggled under the sheets as this little scared boy.

With this sugar topper I would also like to thank all my followers that have registered in the blog (more than 500 already!) as well as all those that follow me on my Facebook page.

Winter is just around the corner and (for those who live in the North Hemisphere) one of the best things you can do at this time of the year is to play with snow like these two little kids. If you live in a place where it snows, you will identify withhavingsnow ball battles or making snow men. “Winter Wonderland” is one of the projects you can find in my book, which, thanks to your support is sold out of its second edition! Those of you who ordered it already but don't have it yet, thanks for being so patient. I hope you will find it was worth the wait. 

El invierno está a la vuelta de la esquina para todos los que viven en el hemisferio Norte y una de las mejores cosas que se pueden hacer cuando llega esta época del año, es jugar con la nieve como estos dos niños. La gente que tiene la suerte de vivir en un lugar donde nieva, seguro que se siente identificada al hacer muñecos de nieve o batallas de bolas. Éste es uno de los proyectos de mi libro, el cual, gracias a todo vuestro apoyo, ya se ha agotado la segunda edición. Muchas gracias a todos los que siguen esperando para conseguirlo. Espero que dicha espera merezca la pena y os guste. Os recuerdo que la versión en español saldrá para mediados de abril del año que viene.

Easter is just around the corner so with this cute family of a rooster, a hen and their chicks I would like to give you an idea about a decoration for this time of the year. These figures are made with basic shapes.

This is another project from Animation in Sugar. I am very glad to announce that the Italian and Spanish versions are ready to be published within the next weeks.

I came up with this idea after living in an old house in Edinburgh where I would often find mice in the kitchen. The mice were as cute as the ones I made in this scene but of course I couldn´t let them stay.

Este es otro proyecto de Animation in Sugar. Os anuncio que las versiones en italiano y español ya están listas y empezarán a publicarse en las próximas semanas.

La idea de este proyecto surgió después de vivir en una casa vieja en Edimburgo donde, de vez en cuando, encontraba algún ratón por la cocina en busca de comida. Estos ratoncitos eran tan simpáticos como los que aparecen en esta escena aunque, eso sí, los reales eran mucho más asustadizos.
